FFH's first purchase was a fresh ready meals manufacturer in Queensland. FFH has also introduced a new operating model that delivers quality, fresh meals at lower costs, delivering a new  value for money benchmark for the end consumer. This model will be applied to other acquisition in Australia.

Wholesale clients include the national grocers Aldi and Metcash. Aldi is the fastest growing supermarket chain in Australia with over 580 stores. Metcash run an independent network of 1400 IGA and Food Town stores that aim to service the local community, as well as servicing another 1000 independent retailers. These ‘convenience’ stores are ideal distribution channels for fresh ready meals.

Finally, FFH has partnered with a national vending company to bring a healthy ready meal solution to this distribution channel. Traditionally vending has been about high sugar soft drinks and snacks. This partnership is now bringing healthy food vending to all corners of Australia.

In August 2019, with investment and guidance from FFH, this facility achieved SQF compliance, the highest food safety certification in Australia.
